Biography
Rahul Kissoon is an Upper Six student at Naparima College with a passion for exploring how systems work—particularly at the intersection of Information Technology, Computer Science, and Mathematics. Fascinated by the “why” and “how” behind complex structures and computational problems, he enjoys unraveling intricate concepts.
At Edukatte, he authors notes that focus on structure and deep understanding rather than memorization. His appreciation for the logical elegance of mathematics motivated him to share this way of thinking with others through Edukatte, all while bridging educational inequality across the Caribbean by empowering students to independently build strong foundations and confidence in their learning. Drawing on years of experience in software engineering and systems administration, he also contributes his technical expertise to improving the platform and its resources.
In addition to his academic interests, Rahul has been involved at Bharatiya Vidya Sansthhaan since the age of seven, where he studied Hindi as well as vocal and instrumental (harmonium) Indian Carnatic music, enriching both his cultural and creative growth.
At Naparima College, Rahul serves as a School Prefect and is actively involved in student life, holding leadership roles as Vice President of both the RSC IT Club and the Indian Cultural Club, as well as Events Manager of the Mathematics Club, where he helps organize activities that foster interdisciplinary learning, collaboration, and innovation. He is currently pursuing CAPE Applied Mathematics, Caribbean Studies, Computer Science, Physics, and Pure Mathematics.
