Biography
Dajanae is an accomplished and driven individual whose achievements span across academics, extracurricular activities, and personal development. At prep school, she demonstrated leadership and academic excellence by holding roles such as Monitor, Subprefect, and Prefect, and was a candidate for Head Girl in 2017. In addition, Dajanae earned a black belt in Kung Fu, receiving accolades including the Best Strike and the Most Disciplined Medal in 2018.
In high school, she maintained an exceptional academic record, earning Honor Roll status every year and achieving straight A profiles in 8 CSEC Examinations, with notable rankings in English Literature, Principles of Business, Economics, and Information Technology. Dajanae also received the Sheila Holtham Murray Scholarship for Grades 12 and 13 and excelled in the Advanced Level exams, securing top grades in five subjects.
Leadership roles have been central to her high school experience, including Prefect, Grade Captain, Deputy Grade Captain, and Student Councillor. She has been active in various competitions, such as the JDIC Essay Competition, Peter Gracey Poetry Competition, and the Queen’s Commonwealth Essay Competition, showcasing a talent for writing and critical thinking.
Volunteering has also been a significant part of Dajanae’s journey, with contributions to The Hope Zoo’s Easter Event, Constant Spring Primary’s Art outreach, and various community service projects. She has been actively involved in clubs, serving as President of the Japanese Club, holding a PRO position in Youth Empowerment, and tutoring Economics.
In addition to academic and extracurricular achievements, she has self-published three short works on Amazon.com and has been accepted into the Young Professional Fellowship Bali 2024 program. Dajanae is committed to personal development, having read influential books such as The Art of War, The Rape of Nanking, and The Wealth of Nations.
