-To describe an action that was just completed, use
(Present tense form) venir de + infinitive
Je viens de regarder le film. I just watched the film. (literally: I come from watching the film)
Il vient de quitter la maison. He just left the house. (literally: He comes from leaving the house)
-If you want to describe it in the past, it’s the same but the imperfect form of ‘venir’ is used.
Elle venait de laver la voiture. She had just washed the car. (literally: She was coming from washing the car)
Ils venaient de marcher dans la rue. They had just walked down the street. (literally: They were coming from walking down the street)
